RESOURCES IN CENTRAL FLORIDA

Glenna:  I recently moved to Ocala, Fl., which is about 75 miles north of
your home.  I was delighted to find a large and active support group which
meets at 1:30 pm every fourth Wednesday, including July and August.  I met a
couple who had driven up from Inverness for the last meeting, because their
group takes off for the summer.

I imagine  that  more information on  support groups is  available from the
 National Parkinson  Foundation in  Miami, 1501 SW 9th Ave, (305) 547-6666.
  They publish some good stuff, though unnecessarily difficult to read. I
have been well pleased with my medical  care, though will follow my
specialist, Dr. Juan Sanchez-Ramos, who is moving to the University of South
Florida, at  Tampa..
