Re: Dry Mouth
Regarding dry mouth- One thing that works quite well with people who have dry mouth -be it from PD, G-tube, or NPO status is something called SALIVERT. It's artificial saliva that comes in a pump-spray container. One or two squirts usually lasts 6-8 hrs (so the container says). The amount given varies from individual to individual. I'm not too sure if it's available over-the-counter nor do I know the cost because I work in a clinical setting where the MD usually prescribes it. Hope you find this bit useful.
