Re: 10/100 vs 25/100
Joyce, My carbidopa reduction was not from 25/100 to 10/100 but rather from CR 50/200 to 10/100........so same proportions. I was taking five 50/200 each day. For about six months, I had progressively more difficulty getting "on".........I seemed to function all day in a "not on" state which was somewhere between "off" and "on".............about 80% of my functional "on" was achieved. Felt very tired and dragging. I switched first to 10/100 to replace my first Sinemet CR of the day......I would take a 10/100 when I got up and then another an hour later.........I was on within 20 minutes of the second tablet..........eventually I replaced four 50/200's with five 10/100's....I have since moved up to six 10/100's and continue to take 1 CR at about 10 a.m........it gives me a longer stretch without meds at that time of day when Iam usually busy and would forget to take a pill. Most immediate change noticed by everyone was a refreshed energy in my voice pattern....not sounding as though I would soon fade away to exhaustion. I also don't feel so "drugged". rita
