Re: Flu Shots? Pneumonia Shots?
Re your query about flu jabs below, I was diagnosed with PD 3 years ago and had a flu jab this year for the first time. Last year the doctor did not seem to think I was especially in need of one. This year he suggested it when I saw him with a cold virus which looked like settling on my chest. My medication is Sinemet CR 200/50 thrice daily and I had no adverse affects whatsoever from the jab. Very few people have side-affects I am led to believe, and of those, the main symptoms are similar to a head cold which last for 48hours or so. My wife also had one without any problems. To have one seems to make sense. If you do have one, it makes sense to have your partner have it as well. No sense in one of you being protected and one vulnerable. Hope this helps.
