The flu shots are recommended unless there is some reason that the person should
not such as sensitivity to eggs, previous intolerance to flu shots. Get a
new one
every year.
The pneumonia sho is DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED to PD patients. The pneumonia shot
will last for several years. It was supposed to last a lifetime, but 5 years is
now considered to be the proper interval. With food inhaling problems in
PD, not
getting a pneumonia shot is foolhardy.
