Will Johnson indicated there were generics available for
Eldepryl in his report on the PARKINSON'S NEWSLETTER of
the Delmarva Chapter, American Parkinson Disease Association
November 1996 - 4049 Oakland School Road Salisbury, Maryland
21804.
Another generic was announced, ATAPRYL (selegiline hydrochloride)
from Athena Neuroscinces, Inc. They indicated a price based on 60
of the Eldepryl 5mg capsules at $ 124.65 (as of 9/13/96) from
Athena RX. Their generic would save 20% when ordered in quantities
of 120 tablets compared to the brand name Eldepryl.
If interested, they gave a telephone number of 1-800-528-4362 for
Athena Neurosciences.
