Katherine Brennan-- I believe that Vicodin is an opiate, and therefore
not good for PWPs. Any opiates apparently compete with the PD meds for
the dopamine receptors.  If her doc thinks Vicodin may be a factor, he/she
may be right...another possibility  to consider is disorientation because of
  move to NH and strange  surroundings. This can be hard on any elderly person,
 and the stress can aggravate PD symptoms.  (This issometimes called "Sundown S
yndrome" as it can be worse at night.  You might ask about these things.
Hope something comes to her rescue soon.
