Dear Leone---what a sad and terrible story of the suffering you and your husband endured. Your gracious sharing, in the hope that it may help others, could not have been easy. It is difficult even to imagine what you went through in those final weeks, and how troubled he, too, must have been. Obviously, you made the very best effort you could under the circumstances to get the help needed, and it must in some measure be a relief to know his suffering is over, even as you mourn the loss of the man he used to be.
