Re: wellbutron and PD
Susan, My review of the data does not indicate a CONTRAINDICATION of Wellbutrin(bupropion) in PWP. There are some cautions in the data though. There is a question as to whether it may interact with Sinemet or Eldepryl although the data is far from solid. I have never give the drug to a PWP but it is a good antidepressant and if I had a patient who I thought might benefit from the drug more than another medication, I would do it with extreme caution- low starting dose and frequent contact.
