You have it all wrong.
I don't have an extra eye in the back of my head. Nothing so ordinary. My
eyes are  on 3 inch stalks, retractable ones,  so that they are not
obvious at all times. In fact, with effort, I can look quite normal.
However, I find it difficult to pass a pastry shop because my eyes have a
tendency to suddenly extend to their full length and blink madly......

Mark-- your mom had xray vision?.... that's a good idea....
