Proamatine for Low Blood Pressure

Thought I'd try this question once more. Is anyone taking Proamatine to
control low blood pressure? My father-in-law has Parkinson's, and is
having trouble with orthostatic hypotension--low blood pressure upon
standing. The Proamatine is supposed to raise his blood pressure, but so
far, is not doing the trick. He's actually passed out a few times.

I'd appreciate any experiences, advice, information, research--anything
about Proamatine.

So far, my father-in-law is seeing a neurologist but not one who
specializes in Parkinson's. We're wondering how important it might be to
get him to a specialist.

Thanks to all of you,

Jackie naiditch
