Re: taking drugs

I am just a lay person, and actually know very little, if
anything.  But, my 59 years of life has shown me, that, the fewer
drugs you take, the better off you are.  I have yet to see an
illness where more drugs are taken then for Parkinsons.  I can't
help but wonder if this is just to keep the drug companies in the
black.  All of these Parkinsons drugs were not available 100
years ago.  How did Parkinsons patients deal with this illness
then?
