NY Representatives Not Co-sponsors

    New York has 31 representatives in the House, which is the second
largest group of representatives in the USA. The good news is 21 are now
co-sponsors of the Udall Bill. The bad news is some of the remaining 10
have not signed on simply because they have not heard from enough of us
to be concerned. Let's get going and change that!
    Following is the list of representatives who as of 5/22/97 have not
signed on. Please call them at the toll free DC number (800-962-3524),
or call their district office or write them a letter. Let's show them we
care and aren't silent anymore. We did it with Sen. D'Amato, and we can
do it again. Also, many thanks to Congressman Mike Forbes (R, 1st.
Dist.) who wrote an excellent letter to the New York delegation urging
his colleagues to join with him in co-sponsoring the Udall Bill.
