Permax dose question
My mother Joyce, 67 and recently diagnosed, is taking Sinemet and Permax. She has been building up to her full Permax dose for awhile now and has reached a point where she feels the drugs are helping. Her doctor told her she could continue to increase the Permax by adding two evening doses. My mother is reluctant to do this because she said she's not too bad first thing in the morning and can't see that there would be much of a benefit to be taking more pills at a time when the only thing she'll be doing is sleeping. Does this make sense? Could there be another reason to increase -- perhaps Permax's effects are cumulative? Any ideas? Thanks. Debbie White dwhite@xxxxxxxxxxxx
