Difficulty breathing

I spoke with my mother (Joyce, 67/5 months) tonight, and she did not have a
good day. She had to leave work due to dizziness and difficulty breathing.
When she tried to reach her doctor, she was told that he couldn't be
reached (he's moving his operation to Florida). No one else got back to
her. She felt so bad that she went to her internist, who did a cardiogram,
blood pressure, and urine test. Everything seemed ok; he really couldn't
help her further.

She still feels the difficulty breathing and the extreme dizziness tonight.
She said that she's felt these before, but usually not this bad. She is on
Sinemet 25/100 4x/day, I think, and Permax -- don't know that exact dosage,
though I can get it. She has gradually been increasing the Permax for
awhile now, but leveled out when increases caused her problems.

I've asked her about the relationship between the medications and the
things she's feeling, but she hasn't documented anything and cannot
remember anyway.

She also experiences confusion a lot.

Do these sound like side effects of the drug(s) or PD symptoms??

My mother may not be able to reach her doctor, but thank God, I can reach
all of you. Thanks.
