Please know that I am fine and in good fighting
spirit. I intend to be around for a long while yet.

I have a friend who has MS.
He can no longer walk.
He can not feed , bath, or dress himself.
He can not hold a book to read.
He has lost the will to try.
Today he collapsed over lunch.
His nurse called the ambulance and
they restarted his breathing and got
him going again. He was angry because they
had brought him back.
He can not give voice to his feelings.
So I want to try to do it for him

It is time.
I've had a good life, the race has been fun
but now there's to much pain when I run.
The course I've played with gusto and zeal
but now it costs to much to heal.
I've enjoyed the adventures we've had
through the years but more days are
now filled with confinement and fears.
I love you and know that you love me, so;
Allow me to choose my time to go.
