Hi folks: My PD recently prescribed Akineton to help reduce my tremors. He said that it was an anticholinergic. I went to four drugstores and they all said that they were unable to predict when they could get it. I finally left an order with one pharmacy and I still haven't heard from them after 3 weeks. Does anyone know the story on this drug's availability? Was it tainted with cyanide? Has it been banned? Also, is the drug any good? My tremors are still relatively mild but nonetheless unpleasant.
