Network Hires Full-Time DC Staff Person!
Please join us in welcoming Monica Bowman, the Network's new
Communications Director. Monica received her Master of Arts in
Communication Studies from the University of Maine in 1993, and served
for the past four years as Pubic Relations Coordinator for the
International City/County Management Association in Washington, DC.
Monica will be based in DC, primarily working from the offices of
our government relations firm, Capitol Associates, Inc. Together with
other PAN staff, she will provide information and assistance to the
Parkinson's community through the Network's several communication
vehicles, including the Action Reporter, the Action Advisory and related
updates, Internet communications and web site activity, informational
materials including instructional materials for the Public Policy Forum,
media advisories, and other communication tools as needed.
