Ruth..... I found the SITE to be very interesting and one of the best designed, most information-laden Web sites I've yet to come across. But I gotta say that you are SO right about their chats.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ <grin> As a matter of fact, when I logged into their chat (and I don't just breeze into a strange chat, babbling all over the place! I always say "Hi," then keep a pretty low profile till I am assured I won't be interrupting an ongoing discussion). WOWIE! The Third Age chatters just rolled right on over with one "hello" from the host. As I took in the conversation, it was SO banal, and SO clique-like that I - who's not at all shy...felt like I'd be pushing myself into a chat where I was truly unwelcome merely because I wasn't already an active member of their group. And if I WAS welcome to join the chat, I'd have soon dozed off! <grin> Gotta tell ya, this was very insular group!
