Edie....

If you're ONLY looking for chat, then you're prolly right in tossing the Site
into your virtual trash can. However, the entire Third Age site offers a LOT
of useful information to those who're over, say, 50-ish.

I signed up for their news letter which is auto-delivered to my email daily,
is brief and to the point - giving the 3 or 4 new topics of the day with a
short synopsis of each new article, and IS a useful reminder to me that I'M
over 50 (I still think I'm 14 most of the time!) <grin> and it's in my best
interest to read these articles. And truthfully, they're usually very
interesting.... Heck.. THAT'S how I found out that Volkswagen 's bringing back
the original VW BEETLE (modernized to deliver 30 mpg and at $15,000)!! Now is
that important news or WHAT???? <giggle>

Seriously tho, as I said, ya want chat only, nope... not here. But for an
otherwise interesting, constantly updated site, with valuable resources for
the over-50 individual, this IS the place to go.

I entered the third age yesterday, and I felt the same way you felt, Barb.
Very cliquish. I didn't know what was going on half the time. That one can
go into the archives. Edie
