Hi Charlie

I've only just read your posting requesting any information about experience
with acupuncture & parkinsons..

My father is a PWP 79/7.. He has not taken any "conventional" treatment for his
condition & has alway used "alternative" treatments, including acupuncture.. Up
until last year he was very independant & was still driving.. He had a fall
which caused facial & other injuries & since then he has lost a lot of
confidence & his condition has worsened..

He has acupuncture about once every 2 weeks & takes Chinese herbal treatments..
He has started practicing Chi Gong recently too which has helped him a great
deal.. He benefits greatly from acupuncture as part of a whole treatment..

If you are interested in alternative treatments then I would suggest looking at

through this list.. From there I also found incredible amounts of information
on acupuncture & other treatments..
