greeting card poem

Dear Listmembers,

I want to thank all of you for the tremendous amount of information you
bring to the list.  While I have not been able to communicate much
myself I would like to offer you the following two poems suitable for
Greeting Cards for your loved ones, as Xmas draws near.
Hope you enjoy and find a use for them

To me it feels like yesterday
When first I held your hand,
Feeling thrills of love flow,
Knowing you would understand.

Then with the joys of love
So quickly to discover,
That you and I together,
To each the perfect lover.

Now the years have passed along,
My need for you grows stronger,
With wishes that our life together
Lasts forever, even longer.

The spirit of life
Is ever in pairs,
To love and to cherish,
A shield from life's cares.

With you I've found all
That life could desire,
Just seeing you smile
Makes my spirit lift higher.

So now and forever
My dreams will come true,
If I spend my whole life
Ever closer to you.
