Debbie,
this probably is of no assistance, but I am also taking Requip. I am up
to lmg, 3 times per day. From the start, 45 mins. to 1 hr after taking the
pill, like clockwork, I experience severe gas/heartburn. This occurs suddenly,
with or without food (tried both ways). 2 Roll-aids usually relieve the
pressure. You might ask your mother whether 'gas' could be part of the
'tightness'.
