Good Morning Dr Charlie,
It's nice to be able to talk to a real Doctor under these conditions,
i.e when the Dr. is nor wearing a white coat and in a hurry to get into
the next room to see another paitent.
I have been reading your post's for several months and found them very
informative and rational.
I have been especially interested in your survey on Buspar, my PWP
prescribed it for me but I choose not to take it after reading the mfg's
data sheet. I feel now that I was right, and in the future I will
allways read as much about any drug that I can obtain before I start
taking it. BTW my neuro would not comment critically on the PCP, but
reading between the lnes I think he agreed with me that I was probably
better off not taking the Buspar. Inb the meantime I took Elavil for
three months and then after a week of so of rebound insommina, I am now
getting along quite well with no med's except for a blood pressure pill.
Thanks again for your input to the list. we need all the help we can
get, especially from PWP's like you!
