Medications again

Linda again.

I just got back from a visit to a Parkinsin's specialist at the Cleveland
Clinic. He says my situation is probably not PD, but there is definitely
a central nervous system tremor. He identified one as essential tremor
and said it may take more time to identify the other condition. He also
said he doesn't totally rule out PD, possibly _very_ early stage, but
my tremors don't fit very well with the thousands of PD patients he has
seen and treated. It does, however fit with the characteristics of the
equally many non-PD tremor cases he's seen.

Nachis und tsuris, I guess. :)

He is writing my personal physician to suggest that he try either of two
medications, clonopin or mycelline (sp), maybe trials of both at different
times.

Can anyone give me any information about these drugs, what they are, what
I can expect from them as far as side effects, etc?

Thanks,
Linda
