Hello everybody,

A few words about myself. I am a ground-water hydrologist working
for the U S Geological Survey, Water Resources Division in Portland,
Oregon. My work involves research oriented investigations and studies
of ground-water and surface-water systems. The agency I work for is
non-regulatory and has no political or scientific biases, so I enjoy
my work.

I've just joined the list to find out more about Parkinson's and
the treatments available. My mother-in-law was diagnosed with it
a couple of years ago but is in Japan and medicine over there is
sometimes behind. I've heard recently of tissue transplants as a
treatment and would be very interested in learning more about this
technique. I look forward to some informative discussions and if
there is a FAQ sheet for this list I'd like to read it.
