Frederic (and others), I also am interested in knowing more about any relationship that might exist between PD and the thyroid gland. Before she was diagnosed with PD, my mother consulted a homeopath who suspected something was wrong with her thyroid. Like your mom, she also has bouts of anxiety. I will look for more information, but I'd like to know more about your mom's symptoms and surgery, as well as anything else you learn.
