CAVEAT-L

(Citizens Against Violence Everywhere Advocating its Termination)

The purpose of the list is:

     1.   To promote and expand discussion about interpersonal
          violence;
     2.   To provide a 'meeting place' on the Internet for this
          discussion;
     3.   To coordinate cross-Canada and worldwide action against
          violence;
     4.   To provide, where possible, email communication with
          government officials;
     5.   To publicize events and conferences;
     6.   To provide an easily accessible source of information on
          the topic of violence.
