magnetic therapy

In case anyone is interested in further researching the Mikken magnetic
therapy, you might try the Holistic e-mail discussion list at the following:
HOLISTIC%SIUCVMB.BITNET@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx If you get on there, and do a search
of the archive log files for the past month or two, you should be able to find
alot of info and discussion regarding these products and the therapy in
general. Personally, although I'm becoming a big proponent of mixing
alternative with conventional therapies, magnetic therapy just doesn't seem to
me to be a useful/effective therapy, and I personally feel reducing one's emf
exposure, rather than adding to it, to be prudent. Years ago people in Russia
also took "radiation baths" believing them to be therapeutic. Perhaps this
therapy could help balance out/neutralize all the other emf's we receive from
other sources (TV, radio, microwave, computer....), but other ways of balancing
one's energy (Tai Chi, yoga, acupuncture, etc.) I think would be a little less
risky. That's just my personal opinion, and if anyone has better information
on magnetic therapy, my mind is wide open. Wendy Tebay
