Re: "assist" for Windows "mousing"
Inda, Thanks very much for your thoughts on the mouse, etc. Your suggestions are perfectly timed - as I will be trying to see how my Dad is able to use a simple word processor (Windows Write) this weekend. We will also install the MicroSoft ACCP.EXE keyboard assists suggested by Howard Koster. One thing that seems to have helped a bit is using a bigger display - a 15" flat screen one (CTX 1565GM) instead of 14". Might not seem much difference (one inch) but the cursor is much easier to see - as well as the text. I guess I would suggest to anyone starting out - get the 15", or 17" if you can afford it.
