Re: side effects from Sinemet CR & Parlodel
To Dar Newman: I, too, take both Parlodel (5mg 3x) and Sinemet CR and experienced problems until the dosage of Sinemeet was reduced. I previously took 1//2 of 50/200 three times a day and one full 50/200 for the second dose of the day. The reaction was severe twisting of the mouth - for about three hours - to the degree I often could hardly talk and drooled a lot. That condition was eliminated by taking 1/2 three consecutive times and then one full 50/200 for the fourth dose of the day. If there was a reaction, I was unaware of it during the sleeping hours.
