Re: TPI Auxiliary Bulletin - Listserv Ed. May, 95
Greg,
I don't know what Phoenix' problem is, but I guess it's time
for another
letter...

Followup on letter (attached below)
On April 13, I received a call from Mike at Electronics
Botique, saying that he had contacted Phoenix Technologies on
this. On April 14, I received a call from Lisa at Phoenix,
saying that Phoenix was sending the rebate, and that I would
get it in a couple of weeks. I also received E-mail from
Delphi, saying that Delphi had spoken to Phoenix about this.
As of May 20, I STILL have not received the promised rebate.
I really fail to see why I have to spend $2-3 in postage, plus
an hour or two of my time, chasing a $5.00 rebate. Based on
this experience, it is very doubtful that I will ever buy
anything from Phoenix again.
10 April, 1995
A couple of months ago, I bought Phoenix Technologies' Internav
from
the Electronics Boutique in the Wyoming Valley Mall. I sent in
the
$5.00 rebate coupon with evidence of purchase.
So far, I have not received the rebate. I did receive a letter
for another
customer from Phoenix' Manager of Customer Services, Mr. Steve
Albert.
I returned the letter by U.S. Mail to Mr. Albert on March 6 or
7, and
informed him that I had not yet received my rebate.
After not receiving a response by March 21, I mailed the
following to
Mr. Albert (with a copy of my previous letter) on March 22 or
23.
"I sent you the enclosed letter more than 2 weeks ago. I have
not received
my rebate, or a response."
"Are you the correct person to handle this, or should I contact
Delphi's management directly?"
Since I have still been unsuccessful in getting the rebate or a
reply,
I assume that the appropriate course of action is to contact
Delphi's
management.
Very truly yours, William A. Levinson
