Hi Ilan,

Clozapine can be extremely sedating especially for the elderly. How old is
your dad? The usual dose used for schizophrenia- the primary use for
clozapine- is 300 to8 or 900 mg/day.  Often when clozapine is use for PD the
dose is in the range of 5 to 25 mg/day.  How much was your fater taking?  Is
he being treated here in Madison or elsewhere?  You migt give Ed Mayland a
call (check the phone book for his number and get on our local group's
mailing list if you are not already coming to meetings.
