Additionally Mike Doyle (PA) agreed to Cosponsor on 7/9 and John
Murtha's (PA) LA (Ray Landis) felt confident he would cosponsor
Phil English (PA) was contacted by a delagation from the Erie Support
Group lead by Jack Daut
We met with Ron Klink's office (LA John George) and they are considering.
Bilirakis
and Klink came to Pittsburgh last weekend. When we hear from Klink
this week possibly it will be some indication of where the Health
Subcommittee stands after 7/21 hearings.
Klink, Murtha and Mascara are all pro life, but Murtha readily
agreed the Udall Bill is not an abortion related bill, Klink is
undecided, while Mascara (LD- Bonnie Lowery) appears more concerned abou his
status with
the pro life lobby than Parkinson patients.
Santorum is concerned about a budget offset. We provided his LA
Wayne Palmer with additional info. Seem to be developing good
rrapport with Wayne
Almost all of this info cme from Legislative Assistants. We've onlt
spoken to Doyle personally.
