I got almost the exact same response from Senator Patty Murray
(Washington State).  Your response resembles mine almost word for word.
I recieved a request from another list member from Washington state to
start bombarding the senator's office with mail every day.  The theory
being that the annoying wheel gets the oil.  If you have the time, try
it, it may work.
