Vacation
Dear friends: I am getting ready to take a well deserved vacation and will fly out to San Diego to celebrate my parents 55th wedding anniversary. During the interim I am turning off the mail from the PARKINSN list. I will still be receiving messages sent to my e-mail address. In reference to the =nn characters: I use Word 6.0 and had been saving the messages out as "Text with Line Break". If I saved out as "Text only" each paragraph whould appear on one line of the e-mail message. The "Text with Line Break" format works fine with regular e-mail, but for some reason when the listserver converts the message the Line Break characters and other Word 6.0 special characters such as intel- ligent quotes get changed into =nn symbols. As a work-around, I now manually enter carriage returns and do not enter quotes until the message is uploaded to my e-mail processor. Anyone who uses Word 6.0 will have to do the same. See you in 10 days. Bruce ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bruce G.
