I can't believe that the Sinemet CR has the timed release in one half of the
tablet and the Sinemet in the other.  No medicine that I know of has those
characteristics.  Half a tablet or capsule is half the medication, whatever
it is (half an aspirin, half a tetracycline pill, half a birth-control pill,
etc.).  I'd challenge the doctor on this--and maybe get another doctor.
