Re: breaking Sinemet (or any other medicine) in half

Dear Joanne,

You're almost right, except for two things: The surface of two half pills is
not the same and the structure of place where the pill is broken is
different. Specially the structure changes can speed up the melting of the
pill and reduce the time the pills are working. On the contrary the bigger
surface can increase the time.
I myself have tried several weeks breaking my pills in two parts, but I
don't notice any difference with a subscribed use of the pills.

If you mix your pills with water for a whole day in advance, you have to add
vitamin C to your liquid sinemet so it won't oxydate.
