I have an article in an information newsletter which says you can break the
pills in your fingers and preserve the continuous release characteristic,
 but if you lay it on a cutting board and saw it, you crumble it too much and
it becomes like a regular Sinemet.  Maybe that is the key to resolving the
conflict of information.
