Three or four years ago, I overheard a physician say that he wouldn't trade
his Rockports for anything.

I needed a pair of leather shoes last year so I went to a department store
that had some Rockport styles. Compared to the other brands of dress shoes,
the Rockports only weighed about 1/2. The shoes come with a soft full foot
insole arch support.

Since they are so light, dragging them around all day is a pleasure. Since we
have less fat in our feet to cushion the shocks as we age, the cushioned
insoles take away the pain.

I used to be a cross-trainer wearer, but no more. The way the pair of
Rockports I have are wearing, I won't need a new pair as often.
