For anyone with PD having a swallowing problem, get a copy of the SUMMER 95 issue of "The Parkinson Report" by the National Parkinson Foundation [1501 N.W. 9th Ave./Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136. In the US & Canada, phone is: 1-800-327-4545 (except in Florida, which is 1-800-433-7022, and California, which is 1-800-400-8448)]. Beginning on pg 26 you'll find "Parkinson's Disease and Swallowing: Part Two" I guess that part one was in the previous issue, although I don't have it. Thought you might find this info helpful.
