I support Joannas suggestion of classified headings.
I enjoy all the mail. Splitting the list will only
complicate matters more.

I think a possible problem with this is that some people's service providers and
set ups cause them to need to download ALL their mail when they call up.  The
problem for them is the volume of mail on the list.  Informative subject
headings would not help them, unless their setup allows them to specify which
messages to download in advance.

Not sure about this though, since that's not the way I read my mail.
