   As for misleading or confusing messages, persons posting publicly should
   add whatever is necessary to their posts so that anyone reading them
   wont jump to a wrong or premature conclusion.


 Easier said than done by most folks, I'm afraid.
 Actually, that's what gives people like me a job.
 (I'm a technical writer :-)

 But you're absolutely right - people should always try to make their
 information clear and unambiguous for the consuming audience.
