The glycolipid monosialoganglioside ,GM1 is normally abundant in neuron
membranes of the brain.  It is thought that they modulate the self repair by
damaged neurons.  GM1 extracted from cattle is now being tested in a double
blind follow-up at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia.  I am a volunteer
