DHEA

>From Brian Symonds <VBS@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Re: DHEA
"(dehydroepiandrosterone) is an adrenal hormone secreted by the adrenal
glands.
To quote from a recent study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and
Metabolism, "DHEA will improve the quality of life over a longer period and
will postpone some of the unpleasant effects of aging, such as fatigue and
muscle weakness.""

I believe this message refers to the following journal article:

Morales AJ; Nolan JJ; Nelson JC; Yen SS; Effects of replacement dose of
dehydroepiandrosterone in men and women of advancing age. J Clin Endocrinol
Metab 1994 Jun; 78(6): 1360-7.
Unique Identifier: 94259749.
