Carol Gray--re: foot and ankle edema--Peter has this pretty regularly, not
severe but noticeable and makes it hard to put on socks :-(
 The internist said it was "dependent edema" (in the sense, I think, I
something "depending" or "hanging down") and caused by a sedentary
lifestyle. He said not to worry about it unless it progressed above the
ankle, which it hasn't , so far. Don't know if this relates to you, but
for what it's worth----
